1. What is Voice Broadcasting?

Voice Broadcasting is the method of rapidly delivering prerecorded information to multiple targeted recipients through their phone. Our technology allows you to avoid the cost and/or the time of calling each recipient individually.

2. What is voice broadcasting also known as?

Autodialing, Robo Calls, Automatic Calls, Automated Calls, Voice Blasting, Mass Calling, Voice Messaging, Outbound IVR (Interactive Voice Response), Robo Polling, etc.

3. What is Voice Broadcasting Used for?

Voice Broadcasting is used by Businesses, Non-profit groups, Political organizations, Schools, and Government Offices for a number of applications. These include, but are not limited to, the following: customer messaging, member announcements, event promotion, lead generation, fundraising, political promotion, get out the vote, emergency notifications, reminders, wake up calls, telephone polling, collections, and telemarketing.

4. What Fees are involved?

With PhoneBlast.org you simply pick the payment plan that works best for you and pay our $99.00  Setup fee. 

5. How do I sign up and get started?

Simply complete a payment plan and we set up your account for you!

6. How quickly can I get started?

Once your payment is processed, it usually takes about 24 hours to have your account set up and login information sent to you via email.

7. How do the calls actually get made?

The calls are made by a sophisticated telephone server platform which is connected to several large telephone networks.

8. What states or countries can I call?

Anywhere in the 48 continental United States, Hawaii, Canada and Puerto Rico.

9. Can I import a file with all my contacts?

Yes. You can use Excel spreadsheets, text, and CSV files. Once you receive your log in information and link, just log in and follow the instructions. If you want to save the list, select “Edit/Manage Lists”. If you want to upload a file to be used a single time, select “New Broadcast”. There is no need to wait for us to import the file for you, and there is never an extra charge for importing files.

10. Can I create/manage more than one group? Are there limits on the size of my groups?

You can create as many groups and subgroups as you like. There are no limits on the size of groups for pay-per-call pricing plans. Subscription plans limit the number of phone numbers and include unlimited calling.

11. What happens if the person doesn’t answer when my call is made?

If someone is not available to answer, your message will also be delivered to an answering machine. If a phone line is busy or someone doesn’t have an answering machine we will attempt to deliver your message 3 additional times (5 minutes later, then 15 minutes later, and again 15 minutes later). You may customize the number of retries to be less than 3.

12. Will I be able to see the results of my broadcasts?

Yes. When your broadcast is complete, you will receive an email with a summary of the results. You can also check on the results of your current and past broadcast in real-time by logging into your account. You will be able to view the results of every call made.

13. How should I format a file for importing?

Column 6 = Phone 3 (Optional)

File Requirements:
Excel (.xls) or
Comma Separated Values (.csv or .txt)

Column Order:
Column 1 = Phone Number with Area Code
Column 2 = First Name (Optional)
Column 3 = Last Name (Optional)
Column 4 = Notes (Optional)
Column 5 = Phone 2 (Optional)

14. Can messages be to a business extension or voicemail account?

All messages must be delivered to a direct line. Messages cannot be delivered to any phone system that requires the entering of an extension number or forwarding by a person.
